The Chicago Bears finished their third and final game of the preseason on Saturday, losing 24-21 to the Buffalo Bills to wrap up pre-season 1-2 as the team prepares for the regular season opener on September 10.
Just one day after the final preseason game, roster cuts began as the Bears began the process of reducing the active roster to 53.
Among the cuts on Sunday was the backup quarterback PJ Walker and former offensive tackle in the first round Alex Leatherwood.

The two cuts announced Sunday bring the Bears’ current roster to 84, meaning some more significant cuts are on the way ahead of the Sept. 10 opener against the Green Bay Packers.
